Q2 2008 SupplyFrame Index Ranks Info Demand for Components and Manufacturers
The Q2 2008 SupplyFrame Index measures worldwide online demand for product information by design engineers. It was first introduced in April 2008 as a ranking of the top 20 most actively searched electronic component manufacturers. This quarter SupplyFrame has expanded the SFI to also rank demand by product categories. The SFI Top 20 is designed to help further understand the online activity of engineers and other professionals in the high-tech space globally.
“The success of the first SFI was monumental as we were able to bring to light what has previously been unknown. The education received from the overall picture of what and how engineers are searching the Web is invaluable,” said Steve Flagg, CEO of SupplyFrame. “We look forward to creating more variations of the SFI to bring a truly comprehensive view of what is occurring in the online space for electronic components.”
The Q2 2008 SFI Top 20 Index for both Electronic Component Category Demand and Manufacturer Demand can be found at SupplyFrame.com.
